dog days of summer

This would be sadie our one eyed dog..Often I find the boys with her. They were singing to her in the first picture.

Been a long time since I have posted..My brain has just not been in gear. So this feels kind of good.:)

Spring turkey hunt and field work supper.

Ahh a successful hunter with his gobbler and best friend and favorite grandaughter too.

Both kids got some precious feathers to carry around awhile and some got made into indian chief hats.

A almost twilight supper with papa while he was planting corn. We got him to STOP awhile with 3 grandkids and lasagna. Nolan thought he should lick the spatula good.
Spring time is hectic with lots of wheels turning, busy busy time. So xtra nice to work in a sit down supper..be it in the field.

New life.

Shannon took a video of a live birth where the guys had to pull a calf. It is on my facebook and on her blog. Amazes me.

March monkeys

All in a days work. Wyatt comes prepared with his cowboots and shovel.

In March we had a few days with Nolan and Avrie at the farm. No parents to get in the way. It was fun. They were very excited to see their parents and lil brother again.

Who is BOB

When Avrie was visiting she forgot her lil princess panties but Wyatt said she could wear BOB..She was all for it.

and with 2 doing training the washload was tremendous but we managed. No time to think about going to the bathroom until after the fact. But there were some mighty strides of success too.

Job description

A favorite mug of mine I found in san diego browsing the shops perhaps 7 ish years ago. Seemed to be my motto. Old woman who lived in a shoe... with a title of DOMESTIC ENGINEER.

Glurch

Valentines day activities. We made GLURCH. It is fantastic stuff. Hours of entertainment. You can color it with washable markers. Blow bubbles with it with a straw. Stretch it. Pop it. ETC.
Best of all is Not much mess associated with this glurch stuff. Mixing the glurch up. Glue, water and borax.. It gets really stiff and ready to play with for hours of entertainment.
